The Truro Swordfish are seeking a head dive coach for the 2022 summer season. We are in Division Two, but are also hoping to develop younger divers so we can grow the program over the next few years. We had about 35 divers on the team in 2021, with a mix of year-round and summer divers.

We will likely have two assistant coaches, but we’re looking for a head coach with a few years of coaching experience and past competitive-dive experience to lead our team of both coaches and divers.

Truro has two one-meter boards, and an amazing community. Our main goals are for divers to learn new dives safely, but also have fun.

-Must be able to attend afternoon practices starting after Memorial Day, and switching to morning practices after Fairfax County Public Schools are finished for the year. We typically have afternoon practices as well, but can consider making it only certain days each week.
-Provide coaching instruction at all dual meets, Cracker Jack Meet, Divisional Dive Championships, NVSL All-Star Championship Meet. Ideally you can attend B meets as well.
-Holding a pool operator license is a plus.
