The Pinecrest Piranha Dive Team is looking for a fun, energetic Head Dive Coach and Assistant Coach for the 2023 summer season. Pinecrest is a division 6 team and will likely have around 20-30 divers with lots of younger divers that are eager to learn!  Communication skills are a must, the Head coach will need to clearly communicate with athletes, coaching staff, parents and team representatives.  

Duties include: 

- planning and running all practices Practice begins the Tuesday after Memorial Day in the afternoons and switches to mornings after the FCPS school year ends. Afternoon times are approx. 4-6:30, mornings 8:00-11:00.  

- Prepare for, attend, and coach at all dual meets (Tuesday nights), Dive Divisionals, Dive Championships, and the NVSL All-Star Championship Meet.  

- Applicant should have strong diving skills, preferably NVSL experience, and be able to impart safety, sportsmanship, and good teaching/coaching, instruction/demonstration in a fun, team-spirited environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.

- Must have CPR training 

- Certified Pool Operator License is a plus
