Springfield Dive Team is seeking a head dive coach for the 2023 season.We are looking for a head coach with high school, competitive club, or college coaching experience.  Prior NVSL coaching experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be energetic and enjoy working with kids of all ages, including divers age 6 years old and up. 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

 The head coach will be responsible for practice, meet planning and preparation.  The coach must be adept at providing positive feedback and creating and maintaining a fun but safe environment. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years coaching in a competitive dive league (NVSL, CSL, PVS, etc.). Head coaching experience preferred.
• Past experience in competitive diving.
• Possess a deep passion for diving, love working with kids, and the ability to lead and instruct divers of all ages and skill levels.
• Ability to clearly and calmly communicate with athletes, coaching staff, parents, and team representatives.
